For the second year in a row, the cybersecurity event for research and education in Luxembourg will take place in October 2019, in the South of Luxembourg, during the European Cyber Security Month (ECSM). This annual event is co-organized by the Luxembourg’s NREN – the RESTENA Foundation – and the one and only University based in Luxembourg – the University of Luxembourg.
As the CyberDay.lu 2018 edition was a complete success with no places left, the organizers expect once again about 150 people. Furthermore, as in 2018, CyberDay.lu is not only organized within ECSM but also within the Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg directly linked to it. The converging of those two European and national initiatives are confirming the importance of cybersecurity for the society, and by extension, the research and education sector.
During the morning of 17 October 2019, CyberDay.lu will gather people operating in the research and education sector in Luxembourg, but not only. Both doctoral students from the doctoral school as well as higher education students with interest in cloud computing or telecommunication networks have already confirmed their participation.
