UK’s University and College Union “investigating as priority” after “criminal group” claims to take data
The University and College Union said it has fallen victim to a “cyber incident”, with the union “investigating as a matter of priority” after a “criminal group” claimed to have taken data.
When contacted by Research Professional News, the UCU said it was unable to state when the attack happened, but did say it had been working with cybersecurity experts to mitigate any risks posed by the incident.
