Cyber ​​attack on Roma Tre University: ACN and Postal Police intervene

A serious cyber attack hit the University’s digital infrastructure on the night between May 8 and 9, causing the sudden interruption of the University’s online services, including institutional sites and essential platforms for students and teaching staff.

According to what was reported by the University itself in an official communication, the first alarm was triggered on the night of May 8, when the IT services suddenly stopped working. Already during the night hours, the Information Systems Area activated the emergency protocols, alerting the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN) and the Postal Police , who went to the site to investigate.
