Aurora College in the N.W.T. has suspended all classes this week after the school’s network was subject to a cyberattack over the holidays.
In a news release on Sunday, the college said that all of its servers and online platforms are offline including e-learning, email, as well as self-service and student application portals.
The school said it expects that these services would remain unavailable for the rest of week.
“Staff have been working towards remediation and recovery of the system and to purge any malicious code,” the release says. The school’s website remains functional.
