The Israel National Cyber Directorate (INCD) conducted a comprehensive exercise last week at the Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yafo, as part of a nationwide drill for academic institutions in Israel, in collaboration with the Committee of College Heads.
INCD data indicates that since the start of the war, approximately 517 cyber incidents have been recorded in Israeli academic institutions. Some were thwarted attempts, while others caused actual damage. A number of incidents even garnered media attention, underscoring the critical importance of preparedness and proactive measures.
